The built in CD-ROM burner in the AW16G makes it a
snap to burn your own audio CDs. This is a great feature for getting
feedback from your friends on your mix, testing it on another system,
of just making a copy to have on hand. Let's take a look at how
it's done.
STEP 1. Press the [RECORD]
key on the AW16G to access the MIXDOWN screen.

STEP 2. Move the cursor to the REC
button of the MIXDOWN page, and press the [ENTER] key to turn the
button on. The panel [STEREO] key will blink red. This blinking
indicates that the stereo track is in record-ready mode.
STEP 3. Press REC and PLAY to mixdown
your AW16G tracks to the master Stereo Track.
STEP 4. When you reach
the end of the song, move the cursor to the SAFE button in the screen
and press the [ENTER] key.
STEP 1. Place a blank CD or CD-RW
in the CD-ROM drive.
STEP 2. Press the CD
button to access the CD SETTINGs Menu.

Use the cursor keys to move to the UNDERUN PROTECT
option, choose ENABLE (Enables/disables the function that prevents
buffer underrun, an error that can occur when data transfer cannot
keep up with writing speed).
STEP 3. Press the CD
button to access the CD WRITE page of the CD screen

STEP 4. Choose either
TRACK AT ONCE or DISC AT ONCE recording.
STEP 5. Move the cursor
to the NEW button and press the [ENTER] key to add the song to the
CD track list.

STEP 6. Repeat step
4 for each song you wish to add (up to 99 tracks)
STEP 7. Move the cursor
to the EXECUTE button and press the [ENTER] key. A popup window
will ask you to confirm.

STEP 8. To begin writing,
move the cursor to the OK button and press the [ENTER] key.
NOTE: If
you want to create another CD with the identical contents, insert
a new volume of media, and move the cursor to the OK button and
press the [ENTER] key.
