Frozen AW1600
Hi!
My recorder just froze after I selected to delete a song that was already active...
No message of warning or any signs of danger was displayed, the only thing that showed up was that static window written something like: "deleting song" and nothing else happened afterwards.
What would be the thing, the bypass trick to do so I would be able to reset the recorder? I have back-up of my work so I don't mind erasing every thing but I need a solution!

I notice it has been a month since this happened. Did you resolve this problem?
This happened on my 16G and after I turned it off for a month, it came back up, but didn't last long before it locked up again. I could get it back up by holding the record & monitor buttons down and then energize the unit by pressing the on button. I have since talked to Yamaha and they recommend a new hard drive. I have also since, bought a 1600, but haven't had time to work with it.
